In lieu of flowers, we are raising funds for Tweddle Child and Family Health Service
In honour of our Mother, Mary Caruana we are aiming to raise $10,000 for the Tweddle Child & Family Health Service. Mum accessed this service after the birth of Anthony - for several years it meant a mentally ill mother could be close to her newborn baby. Below is a photo in the Tweddle 1987 archives - Anthony at the age of 2 'Anthony ready to head home.' It makes sense that it always held a special place in her heart. Even in her final days, Mum dreamed of hosting a dinner dance that would raise funds to help mothers that needed mental health support after having a new born baby where the mothers needed help to care for them.
The difference these people have made to so many people is just extraordinary and we know there are so many others that would benefit from their work.
